Berlusconi has made it clear that the road to early elections - if the plan of the "five points" not quickly receive the confidence of Parliament - will not be charmed by anyone, least of all by the "constitutional procedures". So we know from his lips: he alone controls in Italy, thanks to the "popular sovereignty" that has voted so far.
The Constitution actually says: "Sovereignty belongs to the people who exercise in the forms and limits of the Constitution. " Berlusconi stops in mid-sentence, the rest does not interest him, is pure "formalism". How many Italians have heard about these words? Among those who have learned how to have approved, how will the criticized, to those who have not imported anything, as they are grappling with other problems? Perhaps an answer will come from the next election, if you will soon as possible but, as claimed by Umberto Bossi (with the league that hopes to achieve supremacy in the North and, therefore, the only real power is important now in Italy). But most probably we'll never know. The Italian political situation is unique in all existing democracies in countries where - at least from Machiavelli onwards - the question of power, through a hundred steps theoretical and practical, has been treated so it would come to balanced systems, where no power can claim the right to do whatever he wants, having to hand out more in the vast majority of the media.
Uno dei temi trattati in queste settimane dagli opinionisti è che cosa ci si aspetta dal mondo cattolico, invitato da Gian Enrico Rusconi su La Stampa a fare autocritica. Su che cosa, in particolare? La discesa in campo di Berlusconi ha avuto come risultato quello che nessun politico nel mezzo secolo precedente aveva mai sperato: di spaccare in due il voto Catholic (or, rather, vote Democrat). Which of the two halves must do "self-criticism": the one who chose the Knight, or one that is shared between the Centre and the Left, Magoni full of articles on "non negotiable" on which the Church insists over the years? About. Ivan Illich, a famous priest, theologian and sociologist, critic of modernity, made a distinction between substantive way (ie the one that sums up the concept of "life" by combining, as it should, and how it responds to the Christian ethics, all the moments of a ' human existence, from infancy to that of natural death) and any other aspect of personal or community, to which a sistema sociale e politico deve provvedere.
Il berlusconismo sembra averne fatto una regola: se promette alla Chiesa di appassionarsi (soprattutto con i suoi atei-devoti) all’embrione e a tutto il resto, con la vita quotidiana degli altri non ha esitazioni: il “metodo Boffo” (chi dissente va distrutto) è fatto purpose.
