Medical malpractice and waste of public money
Dear Beppe Grillo,
I write this open letter because you are my last resort.
Let me explain briefly what happened: a few weeks ago, my grandfather was operated at the hospital Gravina di Caltagirone (CT).
Despite the mild temperatures outside, the heaters were turned up to the hospital. The room reaches very high temperatures and even if we are not all medical graduates, we understand that a climate Excessive heat is certainly not healthy for patients (especially for a cardiac 85enne).
Who lives in a normal country, say, "what's the problem? Turn down the thermostat!"
Unfortunately, there are no thermostats, and then getting caught by the sauna!
To my representations, the doctor advised me to open the windows, as happens in all departments. Without going into an economic and ecological aspects (maximum heating on and windows open, the hospital budget in deep red), it poses a health aspect: what causes continuous changes in temperature and air currents?
bronchitis, colds at best.
Moral of the story: My grandfather was cured of a disease and it takes another home as a souvenir.
Not having had a feedback from doctors, I wrote to the hospital management (a copy of "Striscia la Notizia").
did not issue a finding by the hospital management, ho scritto al Ministero della Salute (in copia "Striscia la Notizia)
Dal Ministero ho avuto questa risposta:
"Gentile utente,
Sincerely
Ministry of Health of the Public Relations Office
"
by the Department of Health, absolute silence.
So you're a comedian, I ask: where do I beat my head?
Sincerely,
BC
